Orcas Island sits off the west coast of Washington State and to the south and east of British Columbia. Its geography is diverse – many miles of shoreline, mountains, valleys and over 5,000 acres of protected land in our state park. Orcas Island is known as a healing place, and it has been for Cristine, me and many others. People of all kinds take care of each other here. Artists like those playing on this album thrive here.
